El coordinador de Justicia del PP, Federico Trillo, ha señalado hoy que el hecho de que los presos de ETA pidan "descaradamente" un trato colectivo es "un escarnio" al Estado de derecho y la "contradicción" de la política de Alfredo Pérez Rubalcaba, cuando estaba al frente de Interior.
En una entrevista en Onda Cero, recogida por Efe, Trillo también se ha referido a cómo la carta de los presos de ETA fue calificada por el presidente del Gobierno, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, de "un paso adelante", mientras que el candidato socialista, Alfredo Pérez Rubalcaba, negaba este extremo y el fiscal general del Estado, Cándido Conde-Pumpido, la consideraba "una vergüenza".
A juicio de Trillo, "todos ellos han llevado a esta situación" y mientras "uno hace de poli bueno, otro hace de poli malo", al tiempo que ha criticado que estos años se haya mantenido la política "del palo y la zanahoria".
El coordinador de Justicia y Libertades Públicas del PP ha apostado por "regenerar" una institución capital como es el Tribunal Constitucional y ha abogado por "renovar el sistema de selección y de independencia de sus miembros".
Por ello, ha considerado que con la sentencia de Bildu han puesto el "borrón final a una trayectoria que es la más baja que el Constitucional ha tenido en toda su historia".
Sobre la polémica de los toros y si la Generalitat de Cataluña tiene competencias para prohibir este espectáculo, Trillo se ha decantado por esperar a que el Tribunal Constitucional resuelva y ha comentado que no hay razones para que la sentencia se demore, ya que es "más sencillo resolver una competencia sobre un tema de fiesta tradicional o de un hecho cultural, que otros asuntos pendientes de sentencia mucho más complejos".
