El 76 por ciento de la flota de bajura gallega salió hoy a trabajar y las lonjas se encuentran abiertas, informó hoy la consellería de Pesca de la Xunta, que citó datos de Puertos de Galicia y de las lonjas.
La fuente precisó que en A Coruña 14 lonjas mantienen su actividad, diecisiete en Pontevedra "funcionan como un día cualquiera", en Lugo, una mantiene su actividad y en dos, la flota de bajura trabajará solo hasta el mediodía.
En otra "los barcos se están viendo obligados a parar por presiones", informó la cofradía, según reseñó la consellería en un comunicado.
Respecto a los centros autorizados para primera venta, algunos de ellos son de marisqueo y permanecen cerrados (tres de ellos) para cumplir los descansos establecidos en los planes de explotación.
El representante de la Plataforma por la Defensa del Sector Pesquero, Manuel Iglesias, criticó en declaraciones a los medios en A Coruña los datos sobre el seguimiento del paro facilitados por la Xunta y los calificó de "mentira".
Respecto a la flota gallega del caladero nacional, altura y gran altura, la Consellería de Pesca señaló -con datos del Ministerio de Medio Ambiente, Medio Rural y Marino- que el 36,42 por ciento de la flota de más de 15 metros de eslora trabaja con normalidad.
