Acciona registró una pérdida neta de 1.972 millones de euros en el ejercicio 2013, la primera en la historia del actual grupo cotizado, derivada de los ajustes realizadas en su división de energías renovables como consecuencia de la reforma energética aprobada por el Gobierno, según informó el grupo. La compañía que preside José Manuel Entrecanales explicó que sus cuentas del pasado año incluyen ajustes por un total de 2.200 millones, de los que 1.675 millones corresponden al negocio de renovables. Del resto, 288 millones se anotan en su división de infraestructuras, y otros 100 millones a la inmobiliaria, por devaluación de activos. Los 160 millones derivan del deterioro de la flota de Trasmediterránea.
La cifra de negocio de la compañía cayó un 5,8% durante el pasado año, hasta 6.607 millones de euros, mientras que el beneficio bruto de explotación (Ebitda) también disminuyó, un 14,1%, hasta situarse en 1.228 millones.
El resultado operativo bruto (ebitda) cayó un 14% a 1.228 millones de euros, con una caída del 13% en energía y del 49% en construcción por el continuado declive de este último segmento en España.
Acciona ha puesto en venta hasta el 49% de su negocio eólico internacional, medio centenar de parques que suman 2.273 megavatios (MW) de potencia, para compensar el impacto de la reforma energética aprobada por el Gobierno en su negocio de renovables. La compañía que preside José Manuel Entrecanales profundiza de esta forma en el plan de ajuste que puso en marcha hace un año para amortiguar los efectos de los cambios regulatorios en el sector energético español, dado que finalmente están siendo "más fuertes y severos de lo esperado".
La reforma ha provocado que Acciona renunciara a abrir a nuevos socios toda su filial Acciona Energía, incluyendo también los activos de España, tal como el grupo tenía planteado en origen. Finalmente las instalaciones españolas han quedado fuera. En virtud de la operación, el grupo seleccionará un socio, de carácter financiero y con voluntad de permanencia a largo plazo, que tomará hasta un 49% del capital de sus parques eólicos internacionales. Este nuevo aliado se elegirá de entre la decena de ofertas no vinculantes, todas ellas extranjeras, que ya ha recibido el grupo.
