Las bolsas europeas subieron fuertemente por segundo día consecutivo el jueves, con las mineras al alza, después de que se dijese que el Gobierno australiano está diluyendo sus planes de aumentar los impuestos mineros, mientras que los bancos subieron por la fuerte demanda en la subasta española de deuda gubernamental.
La confirmación de los buenos datos comerciales de China también impulsó el mercado.
El índice FTSEurofirst 300 de las principales bolsas europeas cerró provisionalmente con una subida del 1,49 por ciento hasta los 1.013,28 puntos.
La fuerte demanda en la subasta de deuda española ayudó a mejorar el sentimiento hacia el país y su sector bancario, con Banco Santander y BBVA al alza un 5,2 y un 5,1 por ciento, respectivamente.
"Quizá se esté produciendo un rechazo a los refugios seguros, con el dólar y el oro a la baja, y una vuelta al riesgo", dijo Joshua Raymond, estratega de City Index en Londres. "Hay expectativas de que el mercado se mueva ligeramente al alza".
Se espera que el gobierno australiano anuncie pronto importantes cambios a su polémico impuesto minero, según dijo un periódico el jueves, lo que impulsó las acciones de las mineras en Londres.
Anglo American, BHP Billiton y Rio Tinto subieron entre un 3,2 y un 3,7 por ciento.
