Jorge Candel, jefe de los servicios médicos del Valencia, aseguró que el centrocampista portugués Manuel Fernandes está apto para jugar al fútbol de alto nivel, a pesar de que el Inter de Milán ha afirmado que el jugador no ha superado la revisión médica, motivo por el que ha dado al traste con su cesión.
"Manuel Fernandes está en perfectas condiciones físicas y médicamente está apto para la práctica del fútbol a alto nivel competitivo", dijo en declaraciones a Efe.
El jefe de los servicios médicos valencianista indicó que "no existe ningún motivo médico para no declararle apto para jugar al fútbol".
Candel añadió que hasta ayer mismo el futbolista portugués se entrenó de forma regular y plena. "De hecho, médicamente estaba apto para ser citado para nuestro partido en Sevilla", concluyó.
