Lance Armstrong y su equipo RadioShack tendrán muy difícil destronar al campeón del Tour de Francia, Alberto Contador, dijo el domingo el director del equipo Johan Bruyneel.
el equipo que compartieron Contador y Armstrong el año pasado - para unirse al estadounidense en el RadioShack durante la pretemporada.
Cuando se le preguntó durante la carrera australiana del Tour Down Under si sabe cómo batir al español en la ronda francesa de este año, el belga respondió a Reuters: "¿En la bici? No. Creo que Contador es el mejor en la montaña y entre los favoritos a la general, es también el mejor en contra el reloj".

El año pasado, Contador se colocó en una posición óptima tras la crono inicial de Mónaco antes de asegurar su segundo Tour con una victoria en la contrarreloj final de Annecy. Armstrong, en su primera temporada después de su retirada, fue tercero en la clasificación general de la pasada ronda francesa.
Bruyneel, sin embargo, no se quiere rendir tan pronto.
"Pero un Tour dura tres semanas y puede ocurrir cualquier cosa", añadió. "Su equipo Astana será bueno, mejor de lo que piensan ahora. Será difícil ganarles pero mientras haya esperanza..."
El Tour de Francia empieza el 3 de julio en la ciudad holandesa de Rotterdam.
