Cullera (Valencia), 3 jun (EFE). Un matrimonio de unos 40 años ha sido detenido en Cullera acusado de haber comprado un recién nacido en la localidad de Denia, en la provincia de Alicante, según han informado hoy a Efe fuentes de la investigación.
La Policía Autonómica ha detenido también a la madre biológica y a una mujer que actuó como intermediaria de la venta, mientras que el bebé, un varón de unos 15 días, ha quedado bajo la tutela de la Consellería de Bienestar Social, según las mismas fuentes.
La detención se produjo ayer al culminar una investigación iniciada el pasado 23 de mayo por la policía autonómica tras las dudas planteadas a la matrona durante una revisión médica del recién nacido en el Centro de salud del Raval de Sant Agustí de Cullera.
El personal sanitario puso los hechos en conocimiento de los servicios sociales municipales, de la Conselleria de Bienestar social y de las policías local y autonómica.
La investigación policial ha determinado que el niño había nacido en Denia y había sido comprado por los detenidos, que al parecer habían pagado unos 500 euros a su madre biológica.
