La economía china creció como se esperaba en el último trimestre gracias a que un potente cóctel de inversión y crédito bancario superó el descenso de las exportaciones, dijo el jueves el Gobierno.
El crecimiento anual del Producto Interior Bruto (PIB) en la tercera economía más grande del mundo fue del 8,9 por ciento en el tercer trimestre, desde el 7,9 por ciento en el período abril-junio y del 6,1 por ciento en los primeros tres meses del año, cuando la crisis global era más fuerte.
El pronóstico promedio según un sondeo de Reuters era de un crecimiento del 8,9 por ciento, aunque en los mercados la semana pasada se escuchaba un rumor que apuntaba al 9,1 por ciento.
"Buenos números. El crecimiento económico ha levantado rápidamente. No hay dudas de que el PIB llegará al 8 por ciento para todo el año", dijo Wang Hu, analista de Guotai Junan Securities en Shanghái.
Los economistas dijeron que el crecimiento de un trimestre a otro en realidad se ha desacelerado desde la tasa anualizada registrada en el segundo trimestre del 14,9 por ciento, alcanzada por el impulso inicial del gasto en infraestructura a partir de un paquete gubernamental de estímulo de 4 billones de yuanes (unos 391.000 millones de euros).
Con un crecimiento del PIB del 7,7 por ciento en los primeros nueve meses del año, los economistas dijeron que el Gobierno superará fácilmente su objetivo de crecimiento promedio del 8 por ciento para todo 2009, una meta que parecía descabellada a comienzos de año, cuando el sistema financiero global estaba en plena crisis.
La mayoría de los economistas esperan un crecimiento anual más fuerte en 2010 dada la base de comparación relativamente baja de este año, la probabilidad de una recuperación parcial de las exportaciones netas y el estímulo fiscal ya proyectado.
