El bombardeo de un helicóptero estadounidense sobre una casa en la provincia suní de Salahedín, norte de Irak, mató hoy a los cinco miembros de una familia, según informaron hoy a Efe fuentes policiales.
Según fuentes en Tikrit, capital de la provincia, la casa, ubicada en la aldea de Tamra, fue atacada esta madrugada y en el bombardeo murieron un matrimonio y sus tres hijos.
Otras tres personas de una casa adyacente resultaron heridas en el ataque.
Todavía se desconocen las razones del bombardeo aéreo sobre la casa, cuyo propietario fue identificado como Ahmed Zaidan, según las fuentes, que añadieron que se dedicaba a la agricultura.
El Ejército estadounidense todavía no ha ofrecido su versión sobre los hechos.
Por otro lado, fuentes policiales iraquíes informaron a Efe de que dos personas, entre ellas un menor, murieron y otras 60 sufrieron heridas anoche por el estallido de un coche lleno de explosivos frente a una comisaría de policía en Mosul, capital de la provincia meridional de Nínive.
Mientras, la televisión de noticias qatarí "Al Yazira" mostró hoy las imágenes de ocho cadáveres mutilados en Mazra, en la provincia de Salahedín.
