Rafa Nadal reconoció que en el tercer set de la semifinal de Roland Garros contra Novak Djokovic se le complicó el partido y afirmó que "no se llega a la final de un torneo tan importante y tan bonito" como este "sin pasar momentos complicados".
"El partido estaba muy controlad, pero cuando juegas con un jugador tan grande como Djokovic te pasan cosas así. Se me ha complicado y he tenido que levantar una bola de set en contra", dijo el jugador tras vencer 6-4, 6-2, 7-6(3) al serbio.
"Novak estaba hundido, abajo y con 3-0 en el tercer set hice tres cañas y jugué fatal y él reaccionó. Ha empezado a jugar bien y a mi se me ha complicado. Menos mal que al final jugué con mucha tranquilidad, pero he sufrido mucho", afirmó.
"Me sentí un poco nervioso, pero pensaba que para ganarme tenía que ganar ese set y otros dos más", dijo.
Nadal afirmó que los dos primeros sets fueron "de largo, los mejores del torneo". "Estaba jugando perfecto", afirmó.
