La actriz Penélope Cruz anunció que volverá a trabajar con Woody Allen tras rodar en 2008 el filme "Vicky Cristina Barcelona", cinta por la que la española ganó el Óscar a la mejor actriz de reparto, informó hoy la edición digital de la revista Entertainment Weekly.
"Sé cuál va a ser mi siguiente película, pero el tema es que le tengo que preguntar al director qué puedo decir y qué no al respecto", dijo Cruz a la publicación. "Él es muy cuidadoso. Es una película con Woody Allen. Pero realmente no puedo decir nada acerca de la historia o los personajes", añadió.
El cineasta neoyorquino anunció recientemente que planea rodar en Roma su siguiente película, aún sin título oficial.
La más reciente obra de Allen, "Midnight in Paris", llega a la cartelera de EEUU el 20 de mayo, el mismo día en el que se estrena "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides", protagonizada por Johnny Depp y Penélope Cruz.
La actriz madrileña recibió el pasado día 1 su estrella en el célebre Paseo de la Fama, un acto en el que la española estuvo acompañada por su esposo, Javier Bardem, y el propio Depp.
Se trata de la primera intérprete española que recibe esta distinción.
La estrella está situada justo debajo del Teatro El Capitán, a la altura del 6.834 de Hollywood Boulevard.
