El recital que ofrece mañana la Orquesta Sinfónica y el Coro del Teatro Bolschoi de ópera de la República de Bielorrusia en el XII Festival de Teatro y Danza de la capital grancanaria será "fácil de oír, que no de interpretar" y ofrecerá "pinceladas musicales de ópera para disfrutar".
Así lo afirmó hoy en una rueda de prensa Jorge Perdigón, el tenor palmero y director de la compañía "Ópera en el Convento", que será la encargada de presentar, junto a la orquesta de Bielorrusia, el primer espectáculo de este género que se representará en el festival al aire libre de la ciudad.
En opinión del tenor, el concierto de mañana, cuyo programa componen piezas de Verdi, Rossini, Leoncavallo, Bizet o Puccini, es una "muestra de lo que está ocurriendo en el mundo de la lírica".
Destacó, además, que entre las 130 personas que subirán al escenario del Parque Santa Catalina, figurará un elenco de artistas "muy atractivo", como el barítono Paolo Gavanelli, que situó entre los "cinco o seis primeros del mundo de la lírica".
A él se sumará el bajo Andrea Silvestrelli, "que tendrá el honor de ser el primer italiano que cante" en el German Wagner Music Festival, que se celebra en la localidad alemana de Bairot, donde ha sido contratado para interpretar la tetralogía en 2013 y la soprano Lucia Mazzaria, que "fue una protegida de Pavaroti, sobre todo cuando se trataba de cantar Bohème y demás, y que estrenó La Traviata con Ricardo Muti hace muchos años".
Perdigón también se refirió a la mezzosoprano Laura Brioli, quien acaba de interpretar "Aida" en la Ópera de Roma tras haber actuado este año en "Don Carlo" en el Covent Garden de Londres y tener previsto hacer "Carmen" con Plácido Domingo en Washington.
