Los precios industriales disminuyeron el 2,4 por ciento en marzo en tasa interanual, la mayor caída desde que hay datos estadísticos en 1976, y bajaron el 0,4 por ciento en relación con el mes anterior, informó hoy el Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE).
Las actividades relacionadas con las coquerías y refino de petróleo, con un retroceso del 40,1 por ciento en tasa interanual, y la metalurgia, con un descenso del 17,2 por ciento, fueron las que más influyeron en la caída de los precios con respecto a marzo del año pasado.
También bajaron, aunque en menor medida, los precios en la industria manufacturera, el 5,8 por ciento, y en la alimentación, el 4,9 por ciento.
En cuanto a las ramas que más influyeron en la variación mensual, también figuran las relacionadas con las coquerías y refino de petróleo, que bajaron el 4,6 por ciento, seguidas de la metalurgia, el 2,5 por ciento; la industria química, el 1 por ciento, y la relativa a la alimentación, el 0,9 por ciento.
Con respecto al año pasado, los precios subieron especialmente en el suministro de energía eléctrica y gas, el 19,6 por ciento, así como la extracción de antracita, hulla y lignito, un 9,5 por ciento, mientras que con respecto a febrero de este año, en ambas actividades los precios aumentaron el 0,9 por ciento.
