El Tribunal Supremo ha confirmado la nulidad del concurso de Las Ventas celebrado en 2002, sentencia dictada por el Tribunal Superior de Justicia de Madrid, y ha dado la razón a la empresa Servicios Banf 2000, dirigida por Simón Casas y Enrique Patón, ha informado su oficina de comunicación, Tauropress.
En la Sentencia, el Tribunal Supremo falla contra el recurso interpuesto por parte de la Comunidad de Madrid, propietaria de la plaza, con un texto en el que se destaca que uno de los motivos fundamentales de la anulación del concurso es "la vulneración de un trámite esencial" como es la no realización de un acto público que invitara a los "licitadores asistentes a que expongan cuantas observaciones o reservas estimen oportunas".
"Esta vulneración produce indefensión a los licitadores y supondría la nulidad de los concursos posteriores celebrados en relación con la adjudicación de la plaza de toros de Las Ventas", señala la nota de Tauropress.
La sentencia del Tribunal Supremo "puede suponer un grave problema para la Comunidad de Madrid, toda vez que el 15 de julio de este mismo año debe decidir si se prorroga el actual contrato con la empresa concesionaria", actualmente Taurodelta, añaden las mismas fuentes.
