El secretario general de CCOO, Ignacio Fernández Toxo, valora que en las negociaciones sobre el futuro de la planta de GM en Figueruelas haya habido "un punto de inflexión" que supondría la aceptación por parte de Magna de algunas peticiones del Gobierno y los sindicatos y haría más posible un futuro acuerdo.
Al ser preguntado sobre la voluntad de la empresa alemana para llegar a un acuerdo, Fernández Toxo confió en que Magna haya asumido la idea de un plan de industria "que coloque algunos tipos de vehículos en una posición de liderazgo, tal y como lo reclamaban los sindicatos" con el apoyo del Ministro de Industria.
A pesar de "la dureza de algunos de los temas pendientes", Toxo dijo que las negociaciones podrían seguir avanzando en la medida en que "Figueruelas vuelve a contar dentro del plan industrial de Magna".
Para el secretario general de CCOO, la única salida al conflicto en Figueruelas "es un acuerdo que garantice la continuidad de Opel en España en condiciones de competitividad".
"Lo que no valdría", añadió sería hacer una chapuza que dejase en precario la fábrica de Figueruelas con riesgos para el futuro.
