John Milton (Nicolas Cage) regresa del infierno para ajustar cuentas con el líder de una secta satánica que ha asesinado a su hija y pretende sacrificar a su nieta. Por el camino, un empleado burócrata de Satán busca devolver a Milton a las calderas de Pedro Botero.
COMENTARIO
Ver a Nicolas Cage es de por sí divertido por su repertorio de peluquines, pero también lo es, y mucho, por los descerebrados proyectos en los que participa. Este homenaje ‘grindhousero' es tan malo que sólo puede provocar la carcajada. Acostumbrados como estamos a tanta patochada disfrazada de acción y supuesta aspiración realista (cualquiera de The Rock, Jason Statham y compañía), ver a Cage como vengativo abuelo infernal es pura lisergia fílmica de un absurdo inusitado. Ahí reside su originalidad y su valor. Si ven ‘Furia ciega' después de haber ido de cañas concienzudamente y además lo hacen en 3D, puede ser su película del mes.
