La memoria y la intolerancia serán la médula del Centro Dramático Nacional (CDN) en la temporada 2009-10, con montajes como Madre coraje y sus hijos de Bertolt Brecht, Sunken red, Don Carlos de Friedrich Schiller o La tierra. El dolor, la pérdida de la inocencia y la incomunicación centrarán Realidad, de Tom Stoppard; el Drácula que dirige Ignacio García May; y El baile, de Irène Némirovsky.
7.800.000 euros es el presupuesto que ha manejado Gerardo Vera, director del Centro Dramático Nacional (CDN), para elaborar la programación de la próxima temporada. De los 15 montajes previstos –entre los que figuran 1984, Bodas de sangre y El avaro– cinco son producciones propias (de las que una se repone).
La novedad con respecto a otras ediciones estriba en la creación de la sección Una mirada al mundo, que traerá cuatro producciones internacionales: una de EEUU, dos de Italia y una coproducción de Bélgica y Holanda. Además, Vera anunció que el CDN no participará en el Festival de Otoño por incompatibilidad con las fechas del mismo.
El principal atractivo de la próxima temporada son los directores que pisarán Madrid, entre los que destacan el último descubrimiento del Festival de Avignon, Romeo Castellucci; el actor Tim Robbins; el dramaturgo Tom Stoppard; Calixto Bieito y Andrés Lima, entre otros.
Félix Palomero, director general del Instituto Nacional de las Artes Escnénicas y de la Música (INAEM), no se mostró partidario de aplicar el código de buenas prácticas que implicaría el cese de Gerardo Vera. “Una norma no puede servir para no tener a los mejores en cada momento. Es más una directriz genérica que una norma”, argumentó.
