MADRID.- Les Luthiers han anunciado este martes en un comunicado que su voluntad es continuar haciendo "lo que mejor saben y más les gusta", es decir, "hacer reír a la gente" porque así lo habría querido su "compañero, amigo y hermano", Daniel Rabinovich, fallecido el pasado 21 de agosto.
"Daniel, nuestro compañero, amigo y hermano se ha ido. Nos ha dejado después de varios años de luchar con entereza y valentía contra la enfermedad que ya durante los últimos meses lo había mantenido postrado y alejado del escenario", señalan hoy en su nota los componentes de la formación argentina. En Les Luthiers, dicen, queda su "entrañable recuerdo" y su "incomparable aporte" a lo que son y han sabido crear entre todos. [MIRA SUS MEJORES ACTUACIONES]
"Hoy estamos de duelo pero, aun tristes y doloridos, mantenemos nuestra decisión de seguir trabajando. Vamos a continuar con lo que mejor sabemos y más nos gusta, este bendito oficio de hacer reír a la gente. Es lo que quería Daniel", añaden en su comunicado.
Daniel Abraham Rabinovich Aratuz, "Neneco", (Buenos Aires, 1943) falleció el pasado 21 de agosto en la capital argentina a consecuencia de un empeoramiento de las complicaciones en la enfermedad que sufría. Pertenecía al grupo Les Luthiers desde su fundación, en 1967, y en él tocaba guitarra y violín y, además, se encargaba de instrumentos informales como el "bass-pipe a vara" o el "calephone".
Tras su fallecimiento el pasado viernes, la formación queda integrada por Carlos Puccio, Jorge Maronna, Marcos Mudstock y Carlos Núñez Cortés, con los ya suplentes habituales Horacio "Tato" Turano y Martín O'Connor.
