MADRID, 4 may (Reuters) - El Banco de España dijo el miércoles que en los últimos meses se han intensificado los riesgos a la baja respecto a sus previsiones de crecimiento de la economía española, que estima en el 2,7% del Producto Interior Bruto (PIB) para este año y el 2,3% para el próximo. "Los riesgos a la baja respecto a este escenario se han intensificado de manera apreciable en los últimos meses", dijo el banco en su informe de estabilidad financiera de mayo.
El Banco de España también mencionó explícitamente como un riesgo sobre el crecimiento en España la actual incertidumbre política, después de que el bloqueo político impidiese formar Gobierno y propiciase la convocatoria de nuevas elecciones para junio. "Esta situación introduce dudas sobre el curso de las políticas económicas", dijo el banco.
El banco dijo que los riesgos de que se produzca una evolución macroeconómica más desfavorable han aumentado tanto en España como en el resto del mundo.
En su informe, el Banco de España dijo que los riesgos a nivel mundial vendrían por del deterioro de las economías emergentes, además del aumento de las tensiones geopolíticas, y podrían tener un efecto adverso en el sector bancario español con gran exposición a las economías emergentes.
La entidad advirtió de que la situación podría elevar el riesgo de crédito de la cartera de activos en España para el sector financiero, en la medida en que la economía española se viera negativamente afectada.
El banco central también advirtió de que el entorno de bajos tipos de interés podría suponer un riesgo para el sector financiero español, que también está presionado por un contexto de baja rentabilidad en el mercado doméstico.
