Nada que ver. La reacción de las dos principales fuerzas políticas catalanas ante el proceso de Esquerra fue diferente. Mientras CiU (y especialmente CDC) se ha implicado sin tapujos, el PSC ha pasado de puntillas a sabiendas de que su condición de socio mayoritario en el Govern (el tema estrella de la campaña interna de ERC) influye más de lo deseable.
Hoy Artur Mas se apresuró a descalificar a Puigcercós afirmando que la nueva ERC estará caracterizada por “la obediencia casi absoluta al PSC” y será “continuista”. El líder de CiU mostró poca esperanza en que Puigcercós imprima “perfil propio”. El centroderecha nacionalista y su entorno han apostado por Carretero como la vía directa para enterrar el tripartito. Pero no para pactar de entrada con ERC y sí para adelantar las elecciones previstas para final de 2010.
Pese a todo, algunas voces advertían estos días del efecto bumerán de un triunfo de Carretero que podría dar alas al minoritario sector independentista de CDC en vísperas de su congreso.
El PSC se limitó a felicitar a los vencedores la noche del sábado y, en su blog , Miquel Iceta mostró este domingo “respeto” por el proceso que se cierra el día 14. Aseguraba no tener dudas de que el tripartito acabará la legislatura.Mientras, el líder de ICV Joan Saura recordaba que son amplia mayoría los que, en ERC, están por el tripartito, que ve “reforzado”.
