Saif el Islam Gadafi, hijo del líder libio, Muamar el Gadafi, ha advertido hoy en una entrevista a BBC que "quienes quieran apoyar a la milicia, que lo hagan, pero van a perder". "Nosotros vamos a ganar; no tenemos miedo ni a la flota estadounidense, ni a la OTAN, ni a Francia", ha añadido.
El hijo de Gadafi ha anunciado además que las revueltas protagonizadas por "terroristas" en su país no derribarán al Gobierno de su padre, que nunca se rendirá. Saif el Islam Gadafi ha recordado que "luchamos y morimos en Libia" y que el pueblo "nunca dará la bienvenida a la OTAN, ni a los estadounidenses". "Libia no es fácil, no somos Mickey Mouse", ha declarado.

Desde que comenzaron las revueltas en su país, Saif el Islam se ha convertido en el principal interlocutor del régimen con los medios de comunicación internacionales. Con el mismo tono beligerante de anteriores entrevistas, también ha advertido que "nunca nos rendiremos ante esos terroristas" y que "la nación libia está muy unida ahora, está muy fuerte".
El hijo de Gadafi anunció también la repatriación de los soldados holandeses capturados en Libia. "Les dijimos que no vuelvan nunca más sin nuestro permiso". "Esto es Libia y no los Países Bajos", ha indicado Saif, quien ha añadido que los soldados regresarán a casa, pero no el "helicóptero armado" en el que llegaron al país.
