El cantante Antonio Vega es ya un mito de la música española cuya trayectoria vital va a ser llevada a la pequeña pantalla a través de un telefilme de dos capítulos coproducido por Coral Europa y New Atlantis y, aunque por ahora esta ficción no tiene cerrada una cadena ni una fecha de estreno, sí cuenta con un precasting y con planes de rodar en 2010.
El proyecto de contar la vida de este cantante, fallecido el pasado 12 de mayo a causa de un cáncer de pulmón, se encuentra en fase embrionaria, ya que en la actualidad se están escribiendo los guiones con la colaboración del hermano del cantante Carlos Vega, según confirmó a Público Juan Baena, director general de Coral Europa.
'Hay dos partes muy importantes en la vida de Antonio Vega, una como integrante de Nacha Pop y la otra como solista', explicó Baena, quien precisó que este telefilme arrancará en esta segunda fase de su historia, pero se incluirán flashbacks para contar parte de su infancia y juventud. 'Vamos a pasar por todas las etapas de su vida, no vamos a obviar nada, pero sin una estructura lineal', precisó.
En toda esa evolución, habrá elemento fundamental que esta ficción tratará de destacar: la Movida madrileña. 'Nos queremos centrar un poco en los ochenta', indicó Baena, por lo que esta producción se rodará en Madrid, donde se recuperarán las antiguas salas de concierto, aunque con algunas escenas fuera de la capital, como en la playa de la malvarrosa. Además, esta TV movie tratará de contar con la colaboración de sus amigos artistas, ya que, 'por supuesto, habrá mucha música'.
