El Ibex-35 abrió el lunes con nuevos recortes, presionado por la debilidad del sector financiero al crecer la lista de bancos europeos contagiados por la crisis financiera procedente de EEUU.
El fin de semana, se anunció la nacionalización parcial de Fortis, el primer banco belga-holandés, y de la entidad hipotecaria B&B, mientras en Alemania las autoridades elaboraron con ayuda de otros bancos un plan de rescate para el Hypo Real Estate para hacer frente a sus problemas de refinanciación.
Santander, que acordó la compra de las sucursales y de los depósitos de B&B por 612 millones de libras, cedía un 1,65 por ciento en la apertura. Su rival BBVA caía un 1,44 por ciento.
A las 09:10 horas, el Ibex-35 bajaba un 0,46 por ciento a 11.338,5 puntos y el índice general de la bolsa de Madrid se depreciaba un 0,53 por ciento a 1.211,70 unidades.
Las mayores caídas del selectivo las sufrieron los títulos de Sacyr Vallehermoso, que estudia la venta de activos para repagar parte de su deuda, y FCC, con recortes superiores al 2 por ciento.
En el extremo opuesto figuraba Solaria, con alza de un 2,83 por ciento tras publicarse el fin de semana en el BOE el nuevo régimen de subvenciones para la energía solar, que incluía varias mejoras respecto al borrador inicial.
