La prima de riesgo española registró su mayor caída en una jornada desde la creación del euro al pasar de los 370 puntos básicos del viernes a 289,4 puntos al cierre de hoy, gracias al alivio que supuso la compra de deuda soberana de España e Italia por parte del Banco Central Europeo (BCE).
En ese drástico descenso fue crucial el desplome de la rentabilidad del bono español a 10 años, que terminó la semana pasada en el 6,053 por ciento y que hoy bajó hasta el 5,156 por ciento, un nivel desconocido desde el pasado 21 de marzo.
En cambio, el rendimiento de los títulos alemanes con vencimiento en 2021 -con los que se compara a los bonos españoles para obtener la prima de riesgo o diferencial- avanzó hasta el 2,262 por ciento, frente al 2,345 por ciento del viernes.
El anuncio que hizo el domingo el BCE de que iba a comprar "activamente" deuda soberana de España e Italia para evitar que se contagie de la crisis también se tradujo en una importante relajación de la prima de riesgo italiana, que se colocó en 301,5 puntos básicos, todavía por encima de la española.
