Un 61% por ciento de trabajadores de la EMT han respaldado en referéndum el preacuerdo alcanzado el día 23 entre la empresa y los sindicatos UGT, SICAM, CSI-CSIF y Plataforma Sindical, tras lo que se suspenden los paros, han informado esta madrugada las partes.
Según indicaron hoy un portavoz de la madrileña Empresa Municipal de Transportes (EMT), que celebró 'el final de una huelga desarrollada de manera intermitente durante los últimos tres meses', y el miembro de la sección sindical de UGT Abel Gómez Salmerón, que valoró el resultado 'aunque quedan por cerrar cuestiones sociales', recordó.
De los 7.720 trabajadores llamados a las urnas durante la jornada de ayer que concluyó pasadas las 00.30 horas de hoy, votaron 6.138 (un 79,44 por ciento), de ellos 3.741 -un 61% de votos emitidos- favorables al preacuerdo, y 2.314 -37% de sufragios- en contra del mismo.
'Esto -agregó el portavoz de la EMT- supone para la empresa acabar con la conflictividad laboral, normalizar el servicio de autobuses en la ciudad de Madrid y garantizar el transporte público de un millón de ciudadanos'.
Gómez Salmerón destacó el hecho de que se haya resuelto la parte económica del convenio 'aunque quedan por cerrar cuestiones sociales referidas a la ley de igualdad y a la conciliación de la vida laboral y familiar'.
Por su parte, Alberto Blanco, de CCOO, sindicato que no respaldó el preacuerdo por considerar que no se ha retirado todo lo relativo al absentismo del nuevo complemento salarial, hizo hincapié en que muchos trabajadores no querían el preacuerdo.
