En la Vega de Brañagallones, situada en el interior de la Reserva Natural de Redes, perteneciente al concejo de Caso, Asturias, se hallaba un antiguo refugio de cazadores. Hoy es un hotel, La Reserva Lodge, con unas insuperables vistas sobre el circo que le rodea. En diez kilómetros a la redonda no hay ningún núcleo de población. Esto le convierte en un lugar perfecto para que los amantes de la naturaleza puedan disfrutar de ella en un entorno de paz y tranquilidad absolutas.
Es, por tanto, una magnífica base para realizar diversas rutas y ascensiones a picos cercanos. Desde aquí es muy sencillo visitar la totalidad de la Reserva Natural de Redes con su variedad de rutas y pueblos auténticos, y conocer de cerca el paisanaje de una de las zonas que mejor ha conservado el entorno.
Redes conserva la mayor biodiversidad vertebrada de Asturias y en él habitan corzos, ciervos, jabalíes, lobos y osos pardos. También viven allí más de 130 especies diferentes de aves, entre las que destacan águilas reales, urogallos y halcones peregrinos.
Dada la excepcional situación en un área de especial protección dentro del Parque Natural, el acceso de vehículos a motor está restringido solamente a los autorizados, siendo recogidos en el aparcamiento por vehículos del hotel, en horarios concertados. Sólo abre seis meses al año, y este año lo hará del 12 de junio al 15 de noviembre.
La Reserva Lodge cuenta con 10 habitaciones dobles con baño, dos de ellas con chimenea y bañera de hidromasaje. También posee un salón con chimenea y una galería con espléndidas vistas.
