El ciclista australiano Richie Porte (Sky) ganó hoy la trigésima octava edición de la Vuelta al Algarve (Portugal) al quedar tercero en la última etapa de la prueba y conseguir una ventaja de 37 segundos sobre el anterior campeón, el alemán Tony Martin.
El británico Bradley Wiggins, del mismo equipo que Porte, batió por apenas 0.73 segundos a Martin en la etapa de hoy, una contrarreloj de 25,8 kilómetros entre Fatacil (Lagoa) y Casa Inglesa (Portimao).
