La banda británica Blur estrenará el próximo martes en todo el mundo "No Distance Left to Run", una película en la que recorre los momentos más brillantes y también los más difíciles de la carrera del grupo.
El filme ha sido rodado durante la gira que reunió en 2009, después de nueve años de ausencia, a los cuatro miembros de la banda: Graham Coxon (guitarra), Alex James (bajo), Dave Rowntree (batería) y Damon Albarn (cantante).
"No Distance Left to Run", ha sido dirigida por Dylan Southern y Will Lovelace y producida por Pulse Film.
Tras su estreno en los cines, la película se publicará el próximo 15 de febrero en un doble DVD que incluirá el concierto que la banda dio el verano pasado en Hyde Park (Londres), con 26 canciones y dos horas y media de música.
Formada en Colchester (este de Inglaterra) en 1989, Blur ha grabado siete álbumes de estudio y ha estado varias veces en los diez primeros puestos de las listas de ventas con sus sencillos, incluidos dos números uno, con "Country House" y "Beetlebum".
En la década de los noventa, se convirtieron en la imagen del llamado Brit pop, y mantuvieron batallas musicales con otra banda independiente del norte de Inglaterra, Oasis.
