El técnico del Sevilla, Gregorio Manzano, lamentó hoy la derrota de su equipo ante el PSG en partido de la Liga Europa por 4-2, y señaló que el cuarto gol de los parisinos, que llegó al minuto después del descanso, fue "determinante" para las opciones de los sevillistas.
"El cuarto gol ha determinado el comportamiento general del resto del partido", señaló Manzano, que no se mostró tan descontento con la primera parte, aunque en ella su equipo encajó tres goles.
Manzano resaltó que el Sevilla empezó bien y concentrado, "con la idea de ganar", pero que se encontraron con dos goles en poco tiempo en "jugadas muy similares", en referencia a los dos saques de esquina que acabaron en gol por parte del PSG, al principio del encuentro.
"En apenas tres o cuatro llegadas en la primera parte, el PSG se ha encontrado con un premio muy efectivo", afirmó Manzano sobre estos tres goles que encajó su conjunto en la primera mitad.
El técnico toledano admitió que el equipo tiene que "mejorar en defensa" para que este tipo de situaciones no vuelvan a ocurrir.
Sobre la segunda mitad, Manzano comentó que su equipo cometió "imprecisiones constantes" y que dejó más espacios para el contraataque del PSG en "un partido de ida y vuelta".
Finalmente el entrenador sevillista destacó que dependen de ellos mismos para alcanzar los dieciseisavos de final, cuando tendrán que sumar algún punto en el partido de la última jornada en el que se enfrentarán al Borussia de Dormund alemán, en el Sánchez Pizjuán.
