El central del FC Barcelona Gerard Piqué ha gastado una inocentada a sus 4,7 millones de seguidores de Twitter con un mensaje, la pasada madrugada, en el que aseguraba que había nacido el hijo que espera con la cantante Shakira, y que, según él mismo ha reconocido horas después, era una broma.
Sobre la una de la madrugada, Piqué lanzaba la 'bomba informativa' por medio de la red social: 'Ya ha nacido nuestro hijo! Estamos muy felices! Gracias a todos por vuestros mensajes!'. En poco tiempo, el anuncio del nacimiento era retuiteado y la noticia llegaba a diversos medios de información digitales de España y de Latinoamérica, aunque tomada con precaución debido a la fecha en la que se producía el presunto alumbramiento, el 28 de diciembre, día de los santos inocentes, y sobre todo por el carácter bromista del jugador del Barcelona.
Y así ha sido. Poco antes del mediodía, el novio de Shakira lanzaba otro tuit para dejar las cosas claras sobre el nacimiento de su primogénito: 'Ya tiene nombre! Se llama Inocencio! Feliz Día de los Inocentes a todos!'
Aunque evidente a la vista de muchos, la broma ha hecho que se extendiera por las redes la falsa noticia del nacimiento, que según los cálculos, está previsto para febrero.
