MADRID.- El portavoz parlamentario del PSOE, Antonio Hernando, ha señalado este viernes que su partido continuará pidiendo explicaciones sobre la reunión entre el ministro del Interior, Jorge Fernández Díaz, y el exvicepresidente Rodrigo Rato, en la Diputación Permanente del próximo día 26. A su juicio, la Fiscalía ha decidido "mirar para otra parte".
Respondía así en el Congreso tras conocerse que la Fiscalía del Tribunal Supremo ha archivado la denuncia presentada por Hernando sobre esa reunión.
Para el portavoz socialista, al archivar esa denuncia sobre "la reunión de la vergüenza" la Fiscalía renuncia a saber "que pasó y de qué se habló" en ese encuentro en el despacho oficial del ministro.
Respecto a las causas del archivo, fundadas en "el carácter prospectivo de la denuncia y en la ausencia de soporte fáctico para la misma", Hernando ha dicho que han utilizado los medios que el Estado de derecho pone a su disposición para que se investigue una reunión que, "en cualquier democracia desarrollada, hubiese dado lugar a que el ministro de Interior hoy ya no estuviese en su cargo".
Por su parte, la vicesecretaria de Estudios y Programas del PP, Andrea Levy, ha querido aprovechar la situación para lanzar un dardo venenoso al PSOE. Así, ha dicho también este viernes tras el archivo de la denuncia que los socialistas "han hecho el ridículo al intentar hacer un uso electoralista de la justicia".
