El escritor argentino Andrés Neuman, ganador del último Premio Alfaguara de novela con su obra "El viajero del siglo", compartirá esta tarde con sus lectores una lectura de cuentos en la escuela de creación literaria Arteduna, en Madrid.
El también escritor venezolano Juan Carlos Méndez Guédez, premiado con el último 'Ciudad de Barbastro' de novela por su libro "Tal vez la lluvia", será el encargado de presentar a Neuman y de propiciar el diálogo con el público asistente, a partir de las ocho de la tarde.
La intención de Neuman, ha explicado a EFE Méndez Guedez, es "compartir con sus lectores su otro rostro narrativo: el de autor de una serie de brillantes relatos que van desde el trazo lírico hasta la más chispeante mini-ficción".
Neuman, que cultiva el relato breve desde el principio de su carrera, es autor de títulos como "El que espera", "El último minuto" o "Alumbramiento", que forman parte de su creciente trabajo como creador de ficciones breves, género en el que ha desarrollado también un importante material teórico a través de diversos decálogos en los que analiza los problemas y los recursos del cuento.
Andrés Neuman nació en 1977 en Buenos Aires y muy joven se trasladó a la ciudad de Granada en la que ha escrito la totalidad de su obra, integrada hasta este momento por poemarios, libros de aforismos, y diversas novelas como "Bariloche" o "Una vez Argentina".
