El tenista Rafael Nadal se entrenó hoy por primera vez en la pista central de la Caja Mágica, donde se disputa a partir de mañana el Masters 1000 de Madrid, y en el que el manacorí espera revalidar el triunfo de la pasada edición.
Nadal, que adelantó su viaje para presencia la ida de las semifinales de la Liga de Campeones entre el Real Madrid y el FC Barcelona, tendrá tiempo suficiente para hacerse a las pistas madrileñas puesto que no debutará en el torneo hasta el martes o el miércoles.
El Masters madrileño contará con el aliciente de una posible final entre el número uno mundial y el serbio Novak Djokovic, quien le venció en los dos últimos enfrentamientos, las finales de los también Masters 1000 de Indian Wells y Miami.
No obstante, ahora toca la tierra batida, donde Djokovic querrá refrendar su hegemonía en 2011, tras no disputar Montercarlo debido a una lesión y reaparecer esta semana en su torneo, el Abierto de Serbia en Belgrado.
