El técnico del Alba Berlín Luka Pavicevic ha felicitado a sus jugadores por jugar un partido "fuerte e intenso" ante Bizkaia Bilbao Basket.
Con el billete para la final en la mano ha resaltado que esta competición le ha llegado en un "momento difícil" para el equipo "por las lesiones" pero sus jugadores han demostrado "fuerza iniciativa y decisión delante de un gran numero de seguidores llegados desde Bilbao", ha explicado el balcánico.
La victoria ha llegado teniendo como primera piedra el "trabajo defensivo", que supieron "aplicar durante los cuarenta minutos".
Ha alabado las "individualidades y el trabajo de un buen técnico" en el banquillo bilbaíno que le van a hacer llegar "a lo más alto de la ACB y Europa".
Tampoco quiso olvidar el esfuerzo de los 150 seguidores que han llegado desde Berlín "en un viaje de más de 24 horas a pesar de las dificultades" para apoyar al equipo.
La final le va a medir al Power Electronics Valencia y después de apear a los vizcaínos ve a su equipo "preparado para hacerlo bien", ha enfatizado Pavicevic.
"No va a ser fácil. Es un equipo más fuerte que Bilbao y queremos darlo todo para saber si podemos hacer historia para este equipo"
En menos de 24 horas debe afrontar otro duelo de intensidad y ha admitido que "el cansancio es un problema" y ha relatado algunos problemas que han dejado las semifinales en su plantilla.
Inmanuel McElroy ha finalizado "con una contractura por la intensidad del juego y Sekulic con el tobillo hinchado", ha concluido Luka Pavicevic.
