Oscuro, onírico, delirante. Así es el videoclip con el que David Lynch pone en imágenes Crazy Clown Time, el nuevo single del disco homónimo que estrenó el pasado mes de noviembre. Pero también decadente, erótico, etílico, errante, absurdo, esperpéntico. No sorprende.
Alejado de la escena del largometraje desde Inland Empire (2006), el director estadounidense se pone por primera vez al servicio de su propia música, pero ya había trabajado para artistas como Michael Jackson, Moby o el grupo Rammstein.
Con una fiesta nocturna, el autor de películas tan desconcertantes como Mulholland Drive (2001), Carretera Perdida (1997) o Terciopelo Azul (1986), configura la estampa de un occidente condenado al pecado. Algunas curiosidades: uno de los personajes nos recuerda con su bigote a la estética del surrealista Dalí, mientras que en diferentes instantes del vídeo se puede adivinar a alguien muy similar al propio Lynch.
